In a world of doing, non-doing can feel like a foreign idea. Yoga Nidra takes us to this place of non-doing, a place where we are guided to explore deep rest and healing. Yoga Nidra is a meditative practice that consciously guides us towards stillness and relaxation, a state of wakeful rest that promotes healing on a physical, emotional, mental, and energetic level. Embracing this practice is know to lead to improved sleep, improved cognition and mental health, and overall well-being.
We will begin the evening’s practice with gentle movement and restorative postures that will ready the body for stillness. Once there, Meghan will guide you through a 45-minute Yoga Nidra practice. Feel free to bring any comforting items (pillow, blanket, eye mask) and dress in clothing that will allow ease of movement.
