Meditation can seem mysterious, but at its core it’s simply training your attention. Here’s how to begin.
Start small
Even two or three minutes a day is enough to begin building the habit. There’s no need to sit for an hour.
Focus on the breath
Use the natural rhythm of your breathing as an anchor. When your mind wanders, gently return to it.
Let go of perfection
A wandering mind isn’t failure, it’s part of the practice. Each time you notice and return, you’re strengthening your focus.
