Support Beyond Graduation: Your Journey Doesn’t End After Teacher Training

Completing a yoga teacher training is a significant accomplishment, but at shefayoga, we believe graduation is not the finish line—it’s the beginning of a new chapter.

One of the most common questions prospective students ask is, “What happens after teacher training?”

The answer is simple: we continue to support your growth.

Our commitment to our students extends far beyond certification. Whether your goal is to teach yoga professionally, deepen your leadership skills, or continue your personal development journey, we provide opportunities to help you keep learning, growing, and evolving.

More Than a Certification

Teacher training equips you with foundational knowledge, practical teaching skills, and a deeper understanding of yoga. However, becoming a confident and impactful teacher takes practice, experience, mentorship, and ongoing education.

That’s why we’ve created pathways for graduates to continue developing their skills within our community.

We want our graduates to feel supported as they take their next steps—whether that’s teaching their first class, refining their leadership abilities, or exploring new modalities within the wellness space.

Continue Your Growth with Next Level Leadership

One of the most powerful opportunities available to graduates is our Next Level Leadership 50-Hour Training led by Leah Zaccaria and Morgan Zion in Venice.

This advanced training is designed for those who want to continue their journey of personal growth and leadership development. Building upon the foundation established in teacher training, participants dive deeper into practice teaching while exploring voice, communication, self-awareness, authentic leadership, confidence, and personal transformation.

The program is designed to help you become not only a stronger teacher but also a stronger leader in every area of your life.

Those that take this training have certain teaching experience requirements waived and may audition for the sub list.

Specialized Training Opportunities

For graduates interested in expanding their teaching skills, we offer additional educational opportunities designed specifically for certified teachers.

These specialty trainings include:

Sculpt & Flow Training

Mat Pilates Training

Advanced teaching development and mentorship opportunities

These programs allow teachers to diversify their skill sets, serve a broader range of students, and continue building confidence in their teaching.

Gain Real Teaching Experience

One of the most valuable parts of becoming a teacher is gaining real-world experience.

Graduates may audition for limited volunteer-based community class opportunities at shefayoga Roosevelt and hauteyoga Queen Anne in Seattle.

These classes provide a supportive environment where new teachers can:

Gain valuable teaching experience

Build confidence leading groups

Refine sequencing and cueing skills

Develop their unique teaching voice

Learn to connect authentically with students

Teaching is a skill that develops through practice, and these opportunities allow graduates to continue growing in a nurturing and supportive setting.

Opportunities to Join Our Teaching Community

As graduates gain experience and confidence, they may audition for our substitute teacher lists.

Being part of the substitute roster provides additional opportunities to teach within our studio communities while continuing to develop professionally.

Graduates who demonstrate excellence, commitment, and alignment with our values may also become eligible for future teaching opportunities as positions become available.

A Community for Life

Perhaps the greatest benefit of completing teacher training at shefayoga is becoming part of a community committed to growth.

Our mission has always been about more than teaching yoga poses. We are dedicated to helping individuals become leaders of their own lives, discover their authentic voice, and continue evolving long after training ends.

Whether you choose to teach yoga professionally or simply continue your personal growth journey, you will always have a place within our community.

Because graduation isn’t the end of the journey.

It’s where the real adventure begins.
